  2. Only common elements with non-English transliteration names have pronunciation demonstrations on this page.
  3. The original Kanji names of some elements may contain Kanji that are not within the 1945 Joyo Kanji list. As a result, there are Katakana and Kanji combinations such as フッ素 and ヨウ素.
