新しい(あたらしい)(atarashii)

In Japanese, there are two "new". One is "新しい" and the other is "新た(あらた)". The former is an い adjective and the latter a な adjective. Their meanings are the same and can be used interchangeably.
Same as English and different from some other European languages, Japanese adjectives are put before nouns.

漫画(マンガ)(manga)

「あまり」+「面白くない」=not very interesting

(to)
Meaning: a particate indicating what one says, writes or thinks
This particle is usually followed by words like "言う(say)", " 書く(write)" and " 思う(think)". What one says, writes and thinks is put in front of と. Its function is like "that" in English as in "I think that...", "He said that", etc. But of course, you need to be careful of the word order.

思います(おもいます)(omoimasu)

The dictionary form is 思う. Without a subject, its default meaning is "I think". To say "he thinks", "she thinks" or "they thinks", we need to use the progressive form 思っています.
